73-year-old Staten Island man,who killed wife in 1990 is cleared of conspiracy to kill new girlfriend.  A Staten Island jury on Tuesday acquitted a 73-year-old Grant City man -- who previously served time for killing his wife -- of trying to buy a gun last year to rub out his younger girlfriend.

Charges Dropped Against Cop Accused of Gunpoint Rape on Staten Island

Last week, a grand jury declined to indict officer Arthur Roldan, 28, of Port Richmond, on rape charges, the Richmond County District Attorney's office said. "The grand jury investigation confirmed what our investigation uncovered, which was that this wasn't a rape. In fact, no crimes were committed," Santamauro told the Advance.

Teen sentenced for role in vicious Annadale house-party stabbing

 A teen who participated in a vicious attack on another teen at an Annadale house party three months ago was sentenced Thursday to three years' probation.

Christian Patterson, 18, punched and kicked the victim on the ground while Daniel Milton, then 17, stabbed an 18-year-old boy nine times in the backyard of a home on the 200 block of Koch Boulevard on April 17, said authorities.
